Blue colour Celebration

Blue is the colour of sky implies the limit of your imagination and the beginning of your dreams. It is often associated with depth and stability. The kindergarten section of Oasis Public School Maihar celebrated the blue day on 21st November 2022. A well-planned assembly was organised to celebrate this day. The Assembly begins with the prayer thanking God for all his blessings. the teachers familiarised the students with the few blue objects such as blue flower, pot, blue water bottle, blue ink pot blue whale, blue sky etc... . The significance of blue colour was reiterated through a series of activities . Excitement and enthusiasm was visible everywhere. The activity room was decorated with blue balloons and children's were introduce with the different shades of blue. Students were made to recognize blue colour through different playway activities , Show *and tell, activities by LkG and UkG students using blue prop and array of blue coloured objects like umbrella ball clouds flower etc were at display this providing the students opportunity to have a clear sense of the colour and its importance. Blue day was an amazing learning experience which had a long lasting effect on each students .Early identification of colours help to create the cognitive link between visual clues and words which is an important part of child's development.
