Diwali is religious festival of light that originated in India which takes place annually and this year is celebrated from 22nd October to 27th October. The tradition is celebrated not just by Hindus but across many religions across the globe but Diwali honors the Hindu goddess of wealth Lakshmi.
Our Educators explain the importance of 5 days Diwali festival as it is celebrated for the welcoming of the homecoming of Lord Rama with Sita and Lakshman after a long exile of 14 years literally the word Deepavali is from Sanskrit and it means rows of lights made of clay called Diyas, it was first done by the people of Ayodhya to welcome their King Lord Rama after defeating Ravana.
Lord Ganesha, kuber and maa kali are also worshipped on this auspicious day as they symbolise Good luck prosperity, and wealth. May Diwali Diya bring you peace, prosperity, and happiness in your life.
